I am on faculty at Temple University's Department of Geography and Urban Studies. My main (a)vocational interest is the intersection of technology and becoming. Sounds a bit ethereal, I know, but it's pretty much true. I research next generation infrastructure (mostly broadband and its uses, but increasingly power, water, and transportation) and how they shape while being shaped by the communities (with which they co-develop). I do this through my academic work, presently toward completion of a doctorate from Taubman College at the University of Michigan, and my other professional interests through the Public Sphere Information Group.
